Alli Carter is a hairstylist, healer, and artist in Durham, North Carolina. Alli is a natural born artist and intuitive; throughout life she has used art and creativity to express herself. Alli has passionately created this career for herself with a mission to bring beauty, creative expression, healing and love to the world.

Alli started her professional journey 14 years ago attending Aveda Institute in Chapel Hill in Cosmetology. She then began her career by assisting top stylists in the triangle, extensive training with professional hair color and styling brands, hair cutting artists, and growing into a well-trained stylist to serve the community. After years of training and finding her voice as a hair artist she then dove into editorial hairstyling to express her art. Alli loves collaborating with other artists to create something beautiful and has even had pieces of her work published in print and online magazines.

Alli has stepped into her own spirituality which has led to the realization that energy healing was a calling for her. Through connecting with so many people over the years and helping them with their outer appearance, she realized that changing the outer appearance typically has a direct correlation with what’s happening below the surface.

Alli is now a certified Reiki Master Practitioner and is proud to share this amazing healing work with her guests and community. She honestly and humbly brings you this act of service as a form of healing to help aid well-being and growth. Through the years, Mrs. Carter has realized the importance of connecting with her clients, ensuring their comfort, and using her talents as a hairstylist to reflect their inner beauty, outwardly.

Alli has longed to create an affirming space that serves the community, that is inclusive and safe for all expressions of gender, races, and walks of life, in their staff and in their clientele.
